Victoria McCray, MSc

Hi, I'm Victoria. I'm a research scientist and systems thinker interested in how information moves through people, technology, and institutions. My work spans public health, neuroscience, AI, and open science, with a focus on building evidence, improving systems, and making research more accessible. I've dealt with chronic health issues for most of my life, so I found myself fulfilled in public health until recently. I spent many years in classrooms feeling alone, and so I've felt fulfilled by equitable distribution of educational resources. I've been fascinated with how information is processed for better and for worse in people, technology, and everyday systems for many years. And now after realizing that I myself lived the experience of pain in different forms, I'm interested in ways to build systems for those who experience ongoing pain.
